Frontier River Guides of Alaska

Our philosophy:
Alaska float trips

"There is certainly something in fishing that tends to produce a gentleness of spirit, a pure serenity of mind."

-Washington Irving

PHILOSOPHY

The staff of Frontier River Guides are 100% committed to offering eco friendly, catch and release Alaska fly fishing float trips. We view ourselves as custodians of the rivers on which we operate, practicing low impact camping and proper catch and release methods. Our guide service has been a pioneer in the Yukon/Kuskokwim River Delta for over 20 years, providing the finest Alaska fly fishing river float trips available in Y/K Delta and perhaps in the state.

The FRG guide team is comprised of highly experienced Alaska fly fishing raft guides, people who are conscientious, good hearted and citizens of the planet. Our company maintains a Trout Unlimited business membership, and we have worked closely with the local Trout Unlimited chapter to help defeat Pebble Mine. (Go TU!)

It is only with the greatest moderation that we consume a sampling of the salmon, dolly varden or grayling from the rivers. In order that we may be able to continue to provide the best possible guided Alaska fly fishing float trip experiences in the future, we must be conservation minded in the present. It is the greatest of pleasures for us to share the river with a multigenerational group; we hope to see our children’s children continue to enjoy the benefits of a fly fishing float trip in Alaska.

Because we offer customized, private group Alaska wilderness fly fishing trips, we are able to tailor the river float to include hiking, photography, wildlife viewing and other eco-friendly activities as each group may desire. Our Alaska fly fishing float trips are as fluid as the waters of the river.
