He moved to Fairbanks, Alaska in 1963 at age eight, to his greatest joy and good fortune. Marty’s wilderness skills have been developed through a lifetime of Alaska back country experience as a fly fisherman, river rat, mountaineer, prospector, hunter, skier, adventurer and guide. Marty brings a cheerful disposition, a deep appreciation for nature, heightened safety awareness, "fish finder" instincts and excellent cooking skills to Frontier River Guides’ Alaska float trips. He and his crew are dedicated to providing the finest wilderness fly (and spin) fishing experiences available, and will work to their utmost to accomplish this end.
